Abstract
[INTRODUCTION] The purpose of this paper was to investigate the effect of the frequency of complex exercise program on the estrogen and cardiovascular disease (CAD) risk factors of middle-aged women.

[METHOD] The experiment was conducted for fourteen 40~60 year-old women living in Y city. The subjects were divided into two groups: seven women for each group.
Participants in group I conducted the complex exercise program for 60 minutes per week for 16 weeks, whereas participants in group II conducted for 60 minutes twice a week for the same period. The blood components and physical components of participants were analyzed, focusing on the estrogen and cardiovascular disease (CAD) risk factors.

[RESULT] As a result, the estrogen level for group II participants showed the significant increase at the significance level 0.01. No significant changes of blood components and physical component were found for group I. For group II, significant results were found regarding the changes of estrogen and decrease of triglycerides. For the physical components, the partial improvement was found for the functional improvement.

[CONCLUSION] As a conclusion, twice-a-week complex exercise program showed a significant impact on the menopausal symptoms due to the changes of physical components and increase of estrogen level.
